Good news for farmers! The 20th instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is expected to be released in June 2025. If you’re already enrolled in the scheme, ₹2,000 could land directly in your bank account but only if your paperwork and verification are up to date.
Your name might be left out of the next beneficiary list; If you haven’t completed the following steps:
1) Finish Your e-KYC: Without e-KYC, your name won’t appear in the beneficiary list. You can do this online at pmkisan.gov.in or visit your nearest CSC (Common Service Centre) for biometric verification.
2) Link Aadhaar With Your Bank Account: The government can’t transfer money If your Aadhaar isn’t linked to your bank account. You can link it through your bank or at a CSC.
3) Update Your Land Records: Make sure your name is a perfect match or your land ownership details are updated, or else your application could be put on hold. Visit your tehsildar or revenue office to make sure your records are correct.

How to Check if You’ll Receive the Payment
Step 1: Go to pmkisan.gov.in
Step 2: Click on “Farmers Corner”
Step 3: Select “Beneficiary Status”
Step 4: Enter your Aadhaar, mobile number, or bank account number
Step 5: Click “Get Data” and check your status
You’ll see whether you’re good to go or if there’s an action pending.
Many farmers miss their payments due to easily fixable issues like:
- e-KYC not completed
- Aadhaar not linked to bank account
- Wrong or inactive bank details
- Land records mismatch
- Duplicate applications or typos in names
The PM Kisan Yojana is a lifeline for small and marginal farmers, providing ₹6,000 every year in three instalments. To keep receiving this support without interruption, make sure your e-KYC, Aadhaar linking, and land records are all updated.
